As other data collection companies use raw purchased lists to recruit medical respondents, Ricca Group has decided to follow a different path: create and maintain eMedPanel®, the most current and up-to-date database of profiled healthcare professionals. All of the data has been originally assembled using a variety of available public resources, filtered for accuracy, and re-compiled . Using a dedicated database team, Ricca Group continues to update the database year round, gathering the most accurate information on each healthcare professional. Besides hosting the most current contact information, the eMedPanel® database stores a proprietary profile of each healthcare professional that is used to more effectively target our recruit.

MedSurvey™, an online medical community, offers a unique opportunity to gather result quickly and efficiently, using specific criteria of each member's in-depth profile to send individually tailored survey invitations. All members had to opt-in for membership, while all physicians had to go through a verification process before becoming active in the community. Considering that healthcare professionals join MedSurvey for many reasons besides taking part in healthcare surveys, we believe ourselves to be a community, rather than a survey panel. Our survey invitation algorithms along with our commitment to send invitations to a combination of MedSurvey™ members and non-members ensures a quality sample for each research project.
