In this section, we would like to share our answers to the most frequently asked questions. Although we published this reference online for your convenience, we always welcome questions by phone or e-mail.
Does Ricca Group focus on any other areas other than medical?
No. Ricca Group is completely dedicated to conducting medical surveys with healthcare professionals.
Does Ricca Group have a patient panel?
At this time, we do not have a patient panel. Our core services focus on conducting medical market research with physicians and other healthcare professionals. In some cases, however, we do take on patient studies.
Does Ricca Group provide research design or analytic services?
No. Ricca Group is strictly a data collection company. Although we can provide feedback on a developed questionnaire and offer simple data processing services, we are not a full-service firm and do not offer research design or report-writing services.
What are the prices involved in conducting a research project?
Although a common question, it is also the toughest to answer. The prices for data collection in primary medical market research depend on a number of variables, including (but not limited to) target sample, sample size, length of survey, methodology, incidence, and much more. By filling out a simple bid request form online, we can e-mail you a project quote usually within the hour (submit bid).
How fast can a study be completed from start to finish?
Although the programming phase can range from a few hours to a few days depending on complexity of the survey, fielding will depend on the exact specifications of the project. Simple projects that focus on easy-to-reach respondents such as Primary Care Physicians can take as little as a day, while more complicated recruits can take up to a month, and sometimes longer.
Do you sell sample?
Ricca Group does not sell sample. The use of our healthcare panel is limited to clients who retain us for programming and recruiting of their research project.
How do you compile your panel?
The base of our panel is made of physicians who have completed surveys with our company for many years. Through constant advertising and word-of-mouth, membership continues to grow every day. All physicians are verified before being invited to participate in a study.
How often do your panelists participate in surveys?
Our proprietary algorithm monitors survey frequency for each panel member and adjusts the recruiting process so that that each project contains a fresh sample of respondents who have not participated in surveys for a period of at least three months. Additionally, a small portion of each study is recruited from outside of our panel to promote the growth of panel membership.
